Welly the Boot’s Islay Adventure

Welly the Boot has spent a blissful week on the beautiful Scottish island of Islay, also known as the Queen of the Hebrides. The weather was spectacular and Welly the Boot enjoyed lazy days walking along the deserted white beaches and staring out at the crystal clear blue water. If you ever get a chance to visit Islay, Welly the Boot definitely recommends visiting Gruinart, Welly the Boot’s favourite beach on Islay.

Every once in a while Welly the Boot will be heading off on an adventure and reporting back to cupcake hq.
Welly the Boot goes Fishing
Welly the Boot managed to get the whole gang together during the summer for a family fishing day out on the loch in Tarland, Aberdeenshire.
Welly the Boot always remembers that safety comes first.
It was a gorgeous sunny day for a walk around the loch.
Little did Welly the Boot know she was leading everyone into a muddy, smelly bog at the far end of the loch. There were a few screams when boots became embedded like concrete in the dark gooeyness underfoot. We were all a bit annoyed to find that Welly the Boot somehow managed to escape sparklingly clean.
Guess who was the only one to catch a fish. Welly the Boot of course!
