Cupcake has been featured on Milomade !
Milomade was created by Evie Milo who designs and manufactures contemporary jewellery, accessories and stationery from recycled materials.
Every month Evie features a crafter who answers 20 questions to offer an insight into what they do.

My First Craft Fair

Well, I now have my first craft fair under my belt. It was a shame that there weren’t more people coming through the door, but I’m hoping that the Christmas fairs will be busier.
Baby turtle was one of my sales on the day to Kevin, Morag and little Evie. Kevin sent me an email and some photos to let me know how baby turtle was settling in to his new home.
When we got baby turtle home, we thought it’d be a good idea to get him acclimatised to his new surroundings, so off into the garden we went. He was a little apprehensive at first, hiding in the flower bed, but he gradually got used to the place and ventured on to the lawn. We only turned our backs for a minute when we realised he’d raced off to the nasturtiums and was chatting away to a caterpillar he’d spotted on a leaf. We were really glad that he had found a friend so quickly.

All my money boxes for this fair have been sitting very patiently on my kitchen table for the last couple of months waiting to be displayed and find a happy home. It will feel a bit strange when I can’t see them every day.
